“Blessing Flower Craft” is a Taiwan traditional handicraft, which is a necessary skill for women as well as the embroidery in the past. In the wedding, the bride and female relatives wear them on their heads as a blessing to the marriage. It is also called “Spring Flower” in Taiwanese. The “Flower” is not only presented in the form of flowers, but also in lots of different style.

The work "Blessing" presents culture of “Blessing Flower Craft ” to the audience through puppet theater performance. Leading by yarn artist Derick Yeh, the project is in eastern-western collaboration with Dutch designer Gerard Jasperse, stage designer Cheng Hsuan-Hsun, screenwriter Lu Hsin-Tzu, and Goodoo Puppet Troupe from Tainan, trying to experiment more different “new genres.”
